I'm not a designer but maybe something with multiple charges, two different spells, one which is strictly personal, idk. Having multiple Time Warps during a fight is a really cool effect if they manage to work out the quirks with the Legion/Shadowlands version. They are so out of touch, its unreal! Comment by Pumpkintoys on T15:50:21-05:00 May not be a deep freeze direct substitution but seems pretty good. Temporal warp talent sucks and all but are we all just gonna ignore Freezing Cold? This is going to make mages not want to lust so they can use it when they want for their personal cooldowns rather than when it's best for the raid group. If they do this then drums needs to go back to full value. It's literally ingame right now? As legendary power Temporal Warp? And no one uses it? Comment by greenmachine1123 on T15:34:40-05:00 I would do it in a heartbeat if I didn’t already know for a fact that it would be akin to screaming into the void. No but for real! I am this close □□ to resubbing just so I can get access to the official forums. Like in so many other aspects of the game. Well blizzard is again proving salty players is a part of their strategy to keep them engaged These spells "Requires Mage" in the data and are brand new to the last Dragonflight Alpha build, making them prime candidates for new Mage talents in an upcoming build! This isn't really an issue in Shadowlands since no one runs this Legendary, compare to Legion when almost every mage did! There may be a Mage standoff that will only be broken when someone steps up or a Shaman or Hunter presses the button first (or a really cynical mage presses Drums). In the current datamined version of the tooltip, this means that if a Mage takes this talent, they will not ever want to press their Time Warp button until someone else does. The Shadowlands version matches the current datamined version in Dragonflight. In Legion, this meant that a Mage could Time Warp and then could receive another Time Warp from another Mage. One particular note is that the Legion Legendary had a line of "Your Time Warp does not cause Temporal Displacement on yourself", when compared to the current version. Your raid needs to "Lust" at a late point in the encounter, preventing you from being able to press the ability at any point until then. You're the only "Lust" class in the party/raid and need to use your ability for the group. This means that this talent can lose a lot of power if: From the tooltip, only your Time Warp will allow you to bypass Temporal Displacement.Time Warp still applies Temporal Displacement to your party and raid members. If you didn't play in Legion, on paper this seems amazing for Mages, but has the ability to create some drama for raid groups or isn't as good in certain situations due to the following interactions. NEW Temporal Warp While you have Temporal Displacement or other similar effects, you may use Time Warp to grant yourself 30% Haste for 40 sec.Notably, this spell is currently missing a "Requires Mage" flag which could indicate its more in development than some of the other possible talents. This may be returning in Dragonflight as some new spells have been added with similar effects, one of which can be seen below. While the Temporal Warp Legendary exists in Shadowlands, it really isn't used, and most people will remember the one from Legion instead. One of the highlights for Mages in Legion was the Shard of the Exodar Legendary, which allowed Mages to Lust for themselves every 5 minutes, in addition to receiving the one from the raid. In the last Dragonflight Alpha Build, new spells related to Mages were added that aren't currently part of the Talent Trees - one of which is a modified Legion "Lust Ring" that surely caused Lust drama in your guild.
